• Crypto ETPs saw their 15th consecutive week of net inflows, pushing year-to-date totals to US$29.5 billion and AUM to an all-time high of US$221.4 billion.
  • Ethereum-based investment products attracted US$1.59 billion, their second-largest weekly inflow ever. ETH’s price surged over 55% in 30 days.
  • SharpLink Gaming acquired another 77,210 ETH, bringing its total to over 438,000 ETH (worth US$1.69 billion), making it the second-largest corporate holder of Ether.

Last week marked the 15th consecutive week of net inflows, pushing year-to-date totals to US$29.5B (AU$45B), with total assets under management (AUM) in crypto ETPs hitting an all-time high of US$221.4B (AU$339.9B). 

According to a CoinShares report, there is a record US$11.2B (AU$17.1B) in inflows so far this month, already eclipsing the December 2024 monthly record of US$7.6B (AU$11.6B).

Ethereum-based investment vehicles attracted over US$1.59B (AU$2.44B), the second-largest weekly inflow ever recorded for Ether-based ETPs. The ETH price now sits at US$3.78K (AU$5.80K), a slight decrease of 1.1%. All in all, ETH has been the hottest altcoin in the last 30 days, with an increase of over 55%, now just 22.4% under its all-time high of US$4.87K (AU$7.47K) in November 2021.

Solana (SOL) and XRP followed with US$311.5M (AU$477M) and US$189.6M (AU$290M), respectively. Bitcoin, however, saw outflows of US$175M (AU$268M), snapping a 12-day inflow streak on July 21.

The rise of ETH both in price and product inflows comes as SharpLink continues its ETH acquisition spree. 

The company recently acquired 77.210 ETH in a single move worth US$295M (AU$452M), bringing its total Ether holdings to over 438.000 ETH. The purchase makes SharpLink the second-largest corporate holder of ETH after Bitmine Immersion Tech.

The acquisition exceeds Ethereum’s 30-day net issuance of 72.795 ETH, according to Ultra Sound Money. Most of the newly acquired tokens have been staked.

Data from Lookonchain values SharpLink’s ETH position at over US$1.69B (AU$2.59B). Bitmine remains ahead with holdings surpassing US$2B (AU$3.07B).

Last month, SharpLink announced a stock sale offering worth US$1B (AU$1.52B) to buy Ethereum.
