Pixel RPG With $6M in Revenue and On-Chain Gameplay
Gigaverse, created by GLHFers, is a pixel‑art RPG with all core systems recorded on‑chain using the Abstract Chain. It combines classic RPG elements with NFT drops, faction‑based play and community‑driven updates, alongside regular live events.
Since launching in February 2024, Gigaverse has reportedly generated over US$6M (AU$9.27M) in revenue without outside funding or paid advertising.
The deal is notable for showing live Web3 interoperability, introducing smart contract‑based revenue sharing for developers, and backing indie studios with strong community‑driven growth. As Gabby Dizon, co-founder of YGG put it:
Gigaverse is a perfect fit for YGG Play. Anyone can jump in and start playing. I have Gigaverse on one window and LOL Land on another. These games show how Web3 gaming is catering not just to gamers but also to Web3 natives and Casual Degens.
As stated, YGG Play is YGG’s publishing division, developing and distributing Web3 games under its own brand. The focus is on “Casual Degen” titles that appeal to both crypto‑native players and traditional gamers who want accessible, reward‑driven gameplay.
Its first title, LOL Land, also launched on the Abstract Chain and drew attention for combining board game mechanics, NFT features and $YGG token rewards. LOL Land is playable at LOL.Land and Gigaverse at gigaverse.io.
YGG Play will provide marketing support, community growth and player acquisition through its global network. Likewise, developers will receive revenue sharing through smart contracts, allowing real‑time and transparent earnings.
