We all know Snoop Dogg’s passion for cryptos and blockchain technology. But nobody expected him to drop a new album exclusively on a blockchain platform. “B.O.D.R. (Bacc On Death Row)” will stay exclusive on Gala Music only for a day though.
On the other hand, it’s not that simple. The platform allows you to own one of the newest songs for quite a high price. There are 25,000 boxes released of The Snoop Stash, each one costing $5,000. Every box includes one random track from the album. Thus, as the long play includes 17 compositions, there will only be 1,470 NFTs of each song.
For those, who are not interested in the NFTs or don’t want to pay such a price for one song, “B.O.D.R. (Bacc On Death Row)” will become available on music streaming services tomorrow, on February 11, 2022.
Why You Should Care
Of course, this deal is not for most people, who just want to listen to Snoop’s music. These NFTs are mostly for collectors and people who like to gather all the exclusive stuff related to their favourite artist. Also, Gala Games promised some exclusive in-game mechanics for holders of Snoop Dogg NFTs.
