The first mafia-themed metaverse, MOBLAND, inked a partnership with Bybit recently. Under the partnership, Bybit will soon enter the MOBLAND Metaverse by launching its headquarters there, and with this, Bybit will be the first centralized exchange to enter the MOBLAND Metaverse.
The partnership was announced with MOBLAND introducing its launchpool on Bybit, which was an outright hit. Unveiled on February 18th, the launch event attracted $80 million in total value locked within 12 hours, with 18,000 participants joining in.
Speaking about the partnership with MOBLAND, Igneus Terrenus, Bybit’s Head of Communication, says,
“The partnership with MOBLAND marks Bybit’s latest foray into the metaverse — with a virtual headquarters to boot.”
He further adds,
“Blockchain games have long suffered from the reputation of sacrificing the fun part for the ‘earn’ part. We are delighted to see MOBLAND’s response with their fun and engaging entry, as they seek to make an offer Godfather fans can’t refuse.”
Business opportunity for Community
To strengthen the partnership with MOBLAND Metaverse, Bybit is launching its headquarters there. It will run a host of businesses from its HQ in the MOBLAND, and multiple community-owned businesses can join in the Bybit’s headquarters. Once there, they will earn by providing and availing services within the Bybit headquarters.
This is a game-changing partnership in the GameFi space as two bigwigs like MOBLAND Metaverse and Bybit are coming together to bring a unique business opportunity to life. The partnership is also significant considering that Bybit has just inked a $150 million multi-year partnership with the Oracle Red Bull Racing team, one of the leading names in the Formula One world before they entered the partnership with MOBLAND Metaverse.
